Neckline Slimmer – Does it really work?

Okay, you know you do it. You stay up late with the TV on. You are getting tired, too tired to switch the channel when another infomercial comes on. So, you are sucked into the INFOMERCIAL ZONE!

This happened to me a couple of months ago. I was working on a project until the wee hours of the morning. When what do you know, an infomercial for the Neckline Slimmer came on. I was oddly intrigued. This was a strange little contraption that supposedly made your double chin and/or turkey neck virtually disappear. Really? Was this possible? I have always thought I was just genetically destined to have a double chin – after all, my mother had it and so did my grandma.

You know what late nights will do to you. You watch, you wonder, you laugh at how odd these people look demonstrating this facial exerciser. And then (horror of horrors!) you visit the website and you ORDER ONE! Yes, after waiting approximately 4 weeks – I became the proud owner of a Neckline Slimmer. Okay, I have never admitted to anyone I know that I actually own one – I wanted to see if it worked first.

I hid the box away until late that night when everyone was asleep. Then I ever so quietly opened the box and spread out my loot. Inside I found a strange looking neck exerciser, some neck cream and 3 color coded springs. After reading the few instructions (it is pretty self explanatory), I tried my new toy with the lowest resistant spring. Piece of cake, I thought. So I moved up to the next spring – with more resistance. I did the exercises as directed – tilting my neck up and down, and opening and closing my mouth (to firm the jaw). Don’t watch yourself in the mirror – you look like a dork doing this! Wow – I felt some tension, just like if I were lifting weights. Amazing – could this really work? I think so!

The key to the Neckline Slimmer is you have to be consistent – just like any other exercise. Working your neck/jaw daily for 2-3 minutes (while you watch more infomercials!) will firm up that flabby neck. I have been pleasantly surprised, and many of the consumer reviews I have read say the same.

FINAL OPINION: Great product which I recommend. Although I still haven’t admitted to anyone that I own it! It is like getting a face and neck lift for almost nothing.
