Hot Toys 2009 -All things Twilight!

Twilight has turned tween girls (and even their mothers!) into vampire loving, werewolf adoring fanatics! So is it any wonder that there is a great line of marketing for this blockbuster series. Of course you have to get the The Twilight Saga Collection of books – I think everything is better in print. But what about all the other product tie ins you can find for Twilight?

  • Scene It? Twilight Deluxe Edition – this retails at Amazon for $29.95, just like most of the other Scene It? Games.

Just like other Scene It? games before, this relies on the fact that you have seen the movie and can remember the tiniest of details. This would be a lot of fun at a girls slumber party. I am not sure if it would be a good boy/girl party game. The boys would be jealous of Edward.
  • Barbie Twilight Edward Doll Selling for $51.49 at Amazon.

WOW! This is obviously a hot item, hard to find and the price is going up. I guess every girls dreams of having her own Edward. There is also a Barbie Twilight Bella Doll just in case the boys want one too.
  • Twilight Board Game – retail price $11.97 at Amazon.

Good old board games. Remember when you loved to sit down and play something like Clue or Monopoly. No vampires and werewolves there – just Colonel Mustard in the Study with the lead pipe! Still, for around $12 a Twilight board game would be fun.
  • Twilight (Two-Disc Special Edition) – $22.99 at Amazon.

With New Moon coming out, it is time to brush up on the first movie. Besides, with four books there will be four movies so you better start collecting them now!
  • If you ask me, nothing beats reading a good book, and Twilight is one of those rare books that sucks you right into the fairy tale! Once you start reading there is no going back. So I think the perfect Twilight gift is the The Twilight Saga Collection. So even though these aren’t really ‘toys’, all things Twilight still make my Hot Toys 2009 list!
