Hot Toys 2009 – Elmo’s Tickle Hands

Who doesn’t love Elmo? He is so cute and fuzzy and well, just lovable! Elmo is king among the preschool set – and Elmo’s Tickle Hands are just another jewel in the Elmo dynasty crown. But then again, that crown is well earned because kids love Elmo! Just look at one of the new toddler toys from Elmo.

Toddlers love visual and sensory stimulation and Elmo provides both with this cute little gloves. When you touch the gloves to any surface or touch Elmo’s nose, the hands begin to vibrate, talk and giggle! When you touch them again, Elmo will tell you how to do “The Tickle Hand Groove,” a new, original dance designed to go with the gloves.

Elmo’s Tickle Hands come with a fun DVD that teaches kids how to do “The Tickle Hand Groove”, and kids have fun dancing along with Elmo (and his friend Cookie Monster who pops in!).

These fun little tickle hands are a fun way to interact with your child and have fun. Little kids love them the minute they see the familiar red, fuzzy hands. And of course they like using them to tickle everyone in the family! The only drawback (if you can call it that) is that only one of the gloves giggles and vibrates. It is the one with Elmo’s face on it, the other one is just a fuzzy red glove. Not a big deal, but it would be fun if they both did something! They require 2 AA batteries, which are included.

Like Tickle Me Elmo before, these gloves are all about fun, laughter and just being silly! The dance is fun and the tune is catchy (watch out, you might have it in your head for a while!). Like the packaging promises – your child can “tickle and dance like Elmo” with Elmo’s Tickle Hands. Definitely a Hot Toy for 2009, it is one of the cutest toddler toys around!
